Manama, Bahrain: Arab Banking Corporation announced the appointment of Ian Gore to the position of Group Head Human Resources.

Ian has over 20 years of international experience in the field of Human Resources, including nine years with Price Waterhouse in his native Australia, and 12 years with Citigroup in Sydney, New York, London and most recently Mumbai, India.

“Appointing Ian to this new position as Group Head Human Resources underlines the management and the Board’s determination and commitment to maintain our focus on attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent across all our operations in the world. This will be Ian’s highest priority,” said Mr. Hassan Juma, President & Chief Executive of ABC.”

He added: “This new appointment will provide tremendous support for the Group’s transformation plan and enhance our capabilities within our existing footprint, especially in the MENA region”.
