Turkey’s Yapı Kredi Leasing has successfully closed a US$106 million syndicated loan arranged by Bahrain-based Bank ABC and HSBC.

The two-year syndicated loan will be used by Yapi Kredi Leasing for general corporate and financing purposes. Bank ABC is acting as the Agent.

Özgür Maraş, General Manager of Yapı Kredi Leasing, said: "The successful closure of this syndicated loan reflects our high-quality asset structure, long-standing market leadership and wide experience in the sector. The loan also reaffirms the reliability and credibility of Yapı Kredi Leasing in its field.”

He added, “This syndicated loan will help us expand our business and operations, as it will cover the financing needs of our growing customer base. We will introduce leasing to a far wider audience and help grow the leasing sector."

Other participants to the syndicated loan include First Gulf Bank PJSC, GarantiBank International N.V, BBK B.S.C., United Arab Bank P.J.S.C. and HBL ISTANBUL.
