Driven by its belief in the importance of the education sector, and as part of its commitment to its social responsibility, Bank ABC Jordan continued its support for Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development by supporting the initiatives of the foundation and Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans for the fourth consecutive year.
Expressing how honored the Bank is by this distinguished partnership with QRF, Mr. George Farah Sofia, the General Manager of the Bank said, “We are thrilled to support a topnotch educational institution in Jordan and the region, contributing to its vision of making a quantum leap in the educational process. QRF is renowned for its initiatives that have prominent role in bringing about positive change in education and stimulating creativity.”
In his turn, the CEO of the Queen Rania Foundation, Mr. Bassem Saad expressed his appreciation for the generous support provided by Bank ABC Jordan to a number of the Foundation’s programs. The support reflects the bank’s keenness to be part of social responsibility and national development work. He stressed that the Foundation’s goals represented in finding innovative solutions and embracing new initiatives that have a clear impact on education outcomes in Jordan, can only be achieved through these strategic partnerships with the private sector, especially in light of the challenges and renewed needs in the field of education and development.
Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, one of the initiatives of the Queen Rania Foundation, works to support orphaned youth in the Kingdom by providing them with academic and vocational education, living expenses and health insurance, in addition to counseling, guidance, self-development and capacity-building programs during their period of enrolment to help them build a better future. Until this day, Al Aman Fund has supported 4,000 orphaned youth who are now successful members of our society.
This support reflects Bank ABC Jordan's keenness on taking part in QRF’s activities and programs that aim at providing orphans with scholarships to pursue their education, in addition to enhancing and improving the educational outcomes in the Kingdom.
