Driven by its sense of social responsibility
and its belief in the importance of the support provided by the Young Muslim
Women’s Association Center for Special Education to its students, Bank ABC
Jordan continued its support for the Center, which aims to provide humanitarian
and social services for people with special needs, by continuing to bear the
expenses of one of its students.
Bank ABC Jordan's support for the Centre is
part of its keenness on fulfilling its national duty to people with special
needs in the community; to help them become creative and productive citizens,
in an attempt to change the prevailing social model of disability provided that
appropriate conditions are in place. This fact was demonstrated by the
experience of YMWA in its achievement and leadership.
Commenting on this
continuous support, Mr. George Farah Sofia, the General Manager of the Bank
said, “Our support stems from the care we hold to less fortunate children, as
we aim to provide them with humanitarian and social services and to draw a
smile on their innocent faces, so as to guarantee a brighter future for them.
And that is an essential part of our duty and social responsibility.”
