Amman, Jordan: As part of its social responsibility and its tendency to support the youth and education, Bank ABC Jordan renewed its partnership with Queen Rania Foundation by signing a memorandum of understanding for the years 2021 and 2022. The MoU was signed by the General Manager, Mr. George Farah Sofia, on the Bank’s side, and the CEO of QRF, Mr. Basem Saad.
On this occasion, Mr. Sofia expressed the Bank’s pleasure with this renewal and continuous support, sharing QRF its mission aimed at providing children and youth of Jordan with better opportunities and equipping them with knowledge, skills, strategies and values that allow them to excel in a fast-paced competitive world, through its distinguished developmental and educational programs.
For his part, Mr. Saad praised the importance of such strategic partnerships with the private sector, for the role they play in responding to the emerging needs and priorities in the areas of education and development. He also expressed his pride with this partnership, adding Bank ABC Jordan to the list of supporters to QRF and to the initiatives of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah.
Under this partnership, Bank ABC Jordan will provide its strategic support to Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans Initiative, through granting educational scholarships to a number of orphaned students, allowing them pursue their university education to become productive members in the society. In addition to supporting QRF’s educational and developmental programs that aim at securing free educational researches, resources and programs for children, parents and teachers.
