Amman,
Jordan: In line with its mission and active role in serving the local
community, its keenness on participating in humanitarian efforts during the
holy month of Ramadan as one of the highest forms of humanitarian contribution,
and in order to promote the spirit of brotherhood, solidarity and empathy in
society, Bank ABC in Jordan has sponsored an Iftar event for orphans in
coordination with the Children’s Museum Jordan. The
event, which was organized and supervised by volunteers from the Museum with
the participation of a number of the Bank’s employees, included access to the
Museum’s interactive exhibits and educational facilities and a number of
activities such as the Hakawati’s fun stories. In addition, gifts were presented
to children in a joyful and happy atmosphere.
As
part of its charity initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, the Bank
seizes this opportunity to reaffirm its social responsibility by organizing a
series of charitable activities aimed at serving all members of local community
and bringing joy and happiness to orphaned children who are in desperate need
for support, attention and care from all members of their local community, in
order to alleviate their suffering and provide them with material and moral
support in this holy month.
