Bank ABC in Jordan Renews its Memorandum of Understanding Entitled “Green Prints Initiative for Paper Recycling” with Princess Alia Foundation and the Ministry of Education
Amman, Jordan: Bank ABC in Jordan has renewed a memorandum of Understanding with Princess Alia Foundation (PAF) and the Ministry of Education sponsored by the Association of Banks in Jordan to support government schools while preserving the environment. Through this MOA, which is entitled “Green Prints Initiative for Paper Recycling”, papers are recycled and replaced by new papers.

The Green Prints Initiative for Paper Recycling is of particular importance to Bank ABC in Jordan, due to its social and environmental implications and positive impact on the Jordanian society; as it supports education in Jordan by providing government schools with their needs of papers, while protecting the environment by recycling damaged paper; in order to preserve energy and reduce paper manufacturing costs; as damaged papers are replaced by new papers which PAF distributes to various directorates of the Ministry of Education free of charge.

The memorandum was signed by the General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, Mr. George Farah Sofia, and PAF CEO, HRH Princess Alia Bint Al Hussein, as well as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs, HE Dr. Najwa Qbailat. The memorandum was signed under the sponsorship of the Association of Banks in Jordan, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Bassem Khalil Al Salem.
