Mr. George SOFIA

Mr. George Sofia is the Chief Executive Officer of Arab Banking Corporation – Jordan since January 2020.

He was Deputy Chief Executive Officer in Bank ABC - Jordan from august to decembrer 2019. He also held the position of Head of Retail Banking in Bank ABC – Jordan from 2009 to 2019.

Mr. George Sofia was Deputy CEO/ Head of Retail Banking in Capital Bank of Jordan from 2005 to 2009. He was Retail Banking Manager in Société Générale Jordan (2001 to 2005). Prior to this, he was Head of Branch in Amman, HSBC Bank – Middle East Jordan (1999-2001).

Mr. George Sofia holds a degree in Business Administration B.S.C from Western International University. UK. London 1990.

Mr. Saber AYADI

M. Saber Ayadi is an engineer, holding a Master’s degree in industrial engineering from Polytechnique Toulouse, France, a Master’s degree in finance from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne and an MBA in Finance from Sciences-Po in Paris.

Well-known for his professional skills and human qualities, he has already demonstrated strong managerial capabilities during a full and diversified professional career. He joined the Group in 1999, starting his career with Bank ABC International in Paris. In 2014, he was appointed as Group Head of Project & Structured Finance based at the Group Headquarters in Bahrain. He was member of the Board of Directors within the Group, mainly the Board of Directors of Bank ABC Tunisia and ABC Islamic Bank. 

Mr. Saber Ayadi has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Bank ABC in Tunisia since May 1st, 2022.​

Mr. Abdellatif BENKHELIL

​​​​Mr. Abdellatif Benkhelil​ ​joined Bank ABC Algeria in October 2012 as Secretary of the Board of Directors. He has 20 years’ banking experience in the offshore and inshore sectors and held several positions within the General Delegation of Banks and Financial Institutions, prior to that he was a lawyer in Algiers.​​​
