Bank ABC’s 2026 AGM approves US$ 85.1 million dividend and capital strengthening action to support future growth

Manama, Bahrain: Bank ABC (Arab Banking Corporation B.S.C) held its Annual Ordinary General Meeting (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) virtually on 26 March 2026. The meetings were chaired by the Group Chairman, H.E. Naji Belgasem.

During the AGM, the shareholders approved, amongst other resolutions, the Bank's consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, with net profit attributable to shareholders of parent of US$ 257 million, underpinned by a resilient performance with total revenue crossing US$ 1.4 billion. They also approved the Board's recommendation to distribute a dividend of US$ 85.1 million, approximately 33% of the Group's annual profit, with a retention of 67% of net profit to strengthen capital and support future growth.

During the EGM, the shareholders approved an AT 1 issuance of up to US$ 200 million, reinforcing the Group's commitment to maintaining robust capital ratios while supporting future growth.
