Bank ABC in Jordan Carries Out an Evacuation Drill for its Head Office

Amman, Jordan: In coordination with the Civil Defense Directorate, Bank ABC in Jordan conducted a mock evacuation drill at its Head Office building, Main Branch and Arab Cooperation Financial Investments Company. The drill aimed to enhance employees’ readiness in dealing with emergency situations and to ensure the effectiveness of the Bank’s evacuation and safety procedures.

This initiative reflects the Bank’s ongoing commitment to applying the highest standards of occupational safety and health in the workplace, and to equipping employees with the knowledge and skills needed to respond appropriately in case of emergencies. The drill also served to verify the efficiency of the Bank’s evacuation, safety and prevention measures.

The Bank commended the Civil Defense Directorate for its effective role in ensuring the success of the drill, through its close supervision and follow-up on all procedures, including readiness of participating teams and equipment, as well as evaluating employees’ response time during the evacuation process. The Bank further emphasized that such drills play a vital role in raising awareness of occupational safety, instilling a culture of caution and reinforcing its continuous commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and clients.
