Amman, Jordan: Bank ABC in Jordan held a specialized awareness workshop titled “Pillars of Healthy Living: Nutrition, Movement, and Rest,” aimed at enhancing employees’ understanding of the importance of integrating proper nutrition, regular physical activity, and quality sleep—and how this balance contributes to improved physical and mental well‑being, as well as better quality of life both inside and outside the workplace.

The workshop attracted strong participation from employees. Health and nutrition experts presented simplified, science‑based information on how to adopt a balanced daily diet, the importance of engaging in regular physical activity, and the role of quality sleep in supporting brain function and restoring the body’s energy.

The session emphasized that true value lies not in each element individually, but in the harmony between nutrition, exercise, and sleep. Together, these pillars reinforce one another, resulting in greater vitality, improved health, and a balanced lifestyle that empowers employees to achieve outstanding performance and greater stability in their daily lives.

In this context, Mr. George Farah Sofia, General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, stated “We believe that investing in the well‑being of our employees is a direct investment in the future and success of the institution. Creating a healthy and balanced work environment positively impacts performance quality, innovation, and our ability to deliver the best services to our clients. We consistently strive to launch initiatives that support our teams in adopting a healthy and holistic lifestyle.”

Organizing this workshop comes as part of the Bank’s ongoing series of initiatives aimed at promoting employees’ physical and mental well‑being, fostering a more balanced and positive work environment, and ensuring the highest levels of productivity and workplace comfort.
