​​​As part of its commitment to art and culture in Tunisia, Bank ABC is sponsoring the exhibition Past recomposed, games of yesterday & today by Majed Zalila which took place from April 13 to 16, 2023 in Dar Turki – Sidi Bou Said.

“It is an unusual and unprecedented exhibition which opens this week in Sidi Bou Saïd. Majed Zalila, one of the most talented and original artists of the young generation, known for his artistic curiosity and multifaceted talent, has embarked on a new adventure. Skimming for long months at flea markets, weekly souks and other depots, he has collected an astonishing collection of old objects to which he has undertaken to give new life. To these humble testimonies of the past - old porcelain, now silent alarm clocks, one-way mirrors, reformed sewing machines or out of tune musical instruments - he offers a new aesthetic legitimacy and turns them into works of art. This with humor, fantasy, poetry and talent.
