Bank ABC in Jordan Supports Charity Food Parcel Packing with Tkiyet Um Ali

​​Amman, Jordan: As part of its ongoing support for charitable and voluntary initiatives in Jordan, Bank ABC in Jordan joined hands with Tkiyet Um Ali to contribute to the packing of food parcels destined for underprivileged families across the Kingdom. A group of the Bank's employees volunteered their time and effort to support this vital initiative during the holy month of Ramadan.

This activity aligns with the Bank's broader sustainability strategy, which aims to combat food poverty and contribute to the vision of a hunger-free Jordan. By helping to prepare and pack essential food parcels, the Bank seeks to extend meaningful support to families living below the poverty line, ensuring aid reaches as many beneficiaries as possible during this time of giving.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. George Farah Sofia, General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, said:“Ramadan is a time of compassion and solidarity. Our employees' participation in this initiative reflects our strong responsibility towards the community and our commitment to fostering a culture of cooperation and care. We are proud of our partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali and remain dedicated to supporting impactful humanitarian efforts that touch lives across Jordan."

Tkiyet Um Ali currently provides sustainable food support to 20,000 needy families living below the food poverty line in all governorates of Jordan by supplying them with monthly and year-round food parcels. Each food parcel contains 20 food items that meet the family's monthly nutritional needs.
